Gene Full Name:
Gene Infomation:Sox (Sry-related box) genes encode a family of transcription factors that play a myriad of roles in developmental processes. Sox1 and Sox2 are the earliest markers that identify neuroectodermal tissue, and these markers, together with Sox9 collectively mark neuronal stem cells (NSCs) that are present in neurogenically active areas of the mature rodent brain. Sox1 is thought to maintain the cell cycle and promote self renewal in NSCs, but also functions in other cell types to promote differentiation.

Tissue specificity:ABCF1 Antibody detects endogenous levels of ABCF1
Storage:Store at +4°C short term. Store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze / thaw cycle.
Buffer condition:Rabbit IgG in phosphate buffered saline , pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol.
Background:ABCF1 May function in mRNA translation. Belongs to the ABC transporter superfamily. ABCF family. EF3 subfamily. Induced by TNF (in cultured synoviocytes). Interacts with eukaryotic initiation factor 2 (eIF2). Associates with the ribosomes. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing. Note: This description may include information from UniProtKB.
Molar Function:
Western Blot:Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
