Gene Full Name:
Gene Infomation:Vasoactive intestinal peptide is a neuroprotective factorthat has a stimulatory effect on the growth of some tumor cells andan inhibitory effect on others. This gene encodes a protein that isupregulated by vasoactive intestinal peptide and may be involved inits stimulatory effect on certain tumor cells. The encoded proteincontains one homeobox and nine zinc finger domains, suggesting thatit functions as a transcription factor. This gene is alsoupregulated in normal proliferative tissues. Finally, the encodedprotein may increase the viability of certain cell types throughmodulation of p53 activity. Alternatively spliced transcriptvariants encoding the same protein have been described. [providedby RefSeq].
Antigen:This ADNP antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 831-860 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human ADNP.

Buffer condition:Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
Background:
Molar Function:
Western Blot:Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
