Gene Full Name:
Gene Infomation:ALK, a member of the insulin receptor subfamily of Tyr protein kinases, is an orphan receptor. It appears to play an important role in the normal development and function of the nervous system. This Type I membrane protein is expressed in brain and CNS and in the small intestine and testis, but not in normal lymphoid cells.A form of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma is characterized by a chromosomal translocation t(2;5)(p23;q35) that involves NPM1 and ALK. The protein contains 1 LDL-receptor class A domain and 2 putative MAM domains.
Antigen:This ALK antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 14~43 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human ALK.

Storage:
Buffer condition:Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein G column, eluted with high and low pH buffers and neutralized immediately, followed by dialysis against PBS.
Background:
Molar Function:
Western Blot:Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
