Gene Full Name:

Gene Infomation:Angiopoietins are proteins with important roles invascular development and angiogenesis. All angiopoietins bind withsimilar affinity to an endothelial cell-specific tyrosine-proteinkinase receptor. The protein encoded by this gene is a secretedglycoprotein that activates the receptor by inducing its tyrosinephosphorylation. It plays a critical role in mediating reciprocalinteractions between the endothelium and surrounding matrix andmesenchyme. The protein also contributes to blood vessel maturationand stability, and may be involved in early development of theheart.

Antigen:This ANGPT1 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 374-402 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human ANGPT1.

Buffer condition:Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.

Background:

Molar Function:

Western Blot:

Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
