Gene Full Name:
Gene Infomation:This gene encodes a transcription factor that is a memberof the leucine zipper family of DNA binding proteins. This proteinbinds to the cAMP-responsive element (CRE), an octamericpalindrome. The protein forms a homodimer or heterodimer with c-Junand stimulates CRE-dependent transcription. The protein is also ahistone acetyltransferase (HAT) that specifically acetylateshistones H2B and H4 in vitro; thus it may represent a class ofsequence-specific factors that activate transcription by directeffects on chromatin components. Additional transcript variantshave been identified but their biological validity has not beendetermined.
Antigen:This ATF2 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 318-347 amino acids from the Central region of human ATF2.

Buffer condition:Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
Background:
Molar Function:
Western Blot:Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
