Gene Full Name:
Gene Infomation:The protein encoded by this gene acts as receptor forarginine vasopressin. This receptor belongs to the subfamily ofG-protein coupled receptors which includes AVPR1A, V2R and OXTreceptors. Its activity is mediated by G proteins which stimulate aphosphatidylinositol-calcium second messenger system. The receptoris primarily located in the anterior pituitary, where it stimulatesACTH release. It is expressed at high levels in ACTH-secretingpituitary adenomas as well as in bronchial carcinoids responsiblefor the ectopic ACTH syndrome. A spliced antisense transcript ofthis gene has been reported but its function is not known.
Antigen:This AVPR1B antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 289-317 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human AVPR1B.

Buffer condition:Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
Background:
Molar Function:
Western Blot:Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
