Gene Infomation:The protein encoded by this gene is one of severalproteins that interact with NEDD4, a member of a family ofubiquitin-protein ligases. These proteins have PY motifs in commonthat bind to the WW domains of NEDD4. NEDD4 is developmentallyregulated, and is highly expressed in embryonic tissues. Mutationsin this gene (i.e., intronic insertions of >100 copies ofpentanucleotide repeats including a (TGGAA)n sequence) areassociated with spinocerebellar ataxia type 31. Alternativelyspliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have beenfound for this gene.

Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
