Tissue specificity:Widely expressed. Expressed at high level in heart and skeletal muscle. Expressed at intermediate level in liver, pancreas, fetal brain and fetal lung. Weakly expressed in adult brain, adult lung, placenta, fetal liver and fetal kidney. Overexpressed in many brain tumors.
Storage:Store at -20°C. Avoid freeze / thaw cycles.
Buffer condition:PBS with 0.02% sodium azide, 50% glycerol, pH7.3.
Background:
Molar Function:RNA-binding protein involved in modulation of mRNA transcription by Polymerase II (PubMed:16950395). Component of the tRNA-splicing ligase complex and is required for tRNA ligation (PubMed:24870230). May be required for RNA transport (PubMed:24608264).
Western Blot:Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
