Gene Infomation:Carbonic anhydrases (CAs) are a large family of zincmetalloenzymes that catalyze the reversible hydration of carbondioxide. They participate in a variety of biological processes,including respiration, calcification, acid-base balance, boneresorption, and the formation of aqueous humor, cerebrospinalfluid, saliva, and gastric acid. They show extensive diversity intissue distribution and in their subcellular localization. CA1 isclosely linked to CA2 and CA3 genes on chromosome 8, and it encodesa cytosolic protein which is found at the highest level inerythrocytes. Variants of this gene have been described in somepopulations. Multiple alternatively spliced variants, encoding thesame protein, have been identified. Transcript variants of CA1utilizing alternative polyA_sites have been described inliterature.
Antigen:This CA1 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 60-90 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human CA1.

The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed.
