Gene Full Name:

Gene Infomation:In acute myeloid leukemia, especially in the M2 subtype, the t(8;21)(q22;q22) translocation is one of the most frequentkaryotypic abnormalities. The translocation produces a chimericgene made up of the 5'-region of the RUNX1 (AML1) gene fused to the3'-region of the CBFA2T1 (MTG8) gene. The chimeric protein isthought to associate with the nuclear corepressor/histonedeacetylase complex to block hematopoietic differentiation. Theprotein encoded by this gene binds to the AML1-MTG8 complex and maybe important in promoting leukemogenesis. Several transcriptvariants are thought to exist for this gene, but the full-lengthnatures of only three have been described.

Antigen:This CBFA2T2 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 1-29 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human CBFA2T2.

Buffer condition:Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.

Background:

Molar Function:

Western Blot:

Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
