Gene Full Name:

Gene Infomation:The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the highlyconserved cyclin family, whose members are characterized by adramatic periodicity in protein abundance through the cell cycle.Cyclins function as regulators of CDK kinases. Different cyclinsexhibit distinct expression and degradation patterns whichcontribute to the temporal coordination of each mitotic event. Thiscyclin forms a complex with and functions as a regulatory subunitof CDK4 or CDK6, whose activtiy is required for cell cycle G1/Stransition. This protein has been shown to interact with and beinvolved in the phosphorylation of tumor suppressor protein Rb. TheCDK4 activity associated with this cyclin was reported to benecessary for cell cycle progression through G2 phase into mitosisafter UV radiation. Several transcript variants encoding differentisoforms have been found for this gene.

Antigen:This CCND3 Antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic phosphopeptide corresponding to amino acid residues surrounding T283 of human CCND3.

Buffer condition:Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by two-step phosphospecific peptide affinity purification.

Background:

Molar Function:

Western Blot:

Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
