Gene Full Name:

Gene Infomation:CCR8 encodes a member of the beta chemokine receptorfamily, which is predicted to be a seven transmembrane proteinsimilar to G protein-coupled receptors. Chemokines and theirreceptors are important for the migration of various cell typesinto the inflammatory sites. This receptor protein preferentiallyexpresses in the thymus. I-309, thymus activation-regulatedcytokine (TARC) and macrophage inflammatory protein-1 beta (MIP-1beta) have been identified as ligands of this receptor. Studies ofthis receptor and its ligands suggested its role in regulation ofmonocyte chemotaxis and thymic cell apoptosis. More specifically, this receptor may contribute to the proper positioning of activatedT cells within the antigenic challenge sites and specialized areasof lymphoid tissues. CCR8 is located at the chemokine receptorgene cluster region.

Antigen:This CCR8 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 290-317 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human CCR8.

Buffer condition:Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.

Background:

Molar Function:

Western Blot:

Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
