Gene Infomation:The chaperonin containing TCP1 (MIM 186980) complex (CCT),also called the TCP1 ring complex, consists of 2 back-to-backrings, each containing 8 unique but homologous subunits, such asCCT4. CCT assists the folding of newly translated polypeptidesubstrates through multiple rounds of ATP-driven release andrebinding of partially folded intermediate forms. Substrates of CCTinclude the cytoskeletal proteins actin (see MIM 102560) andtubulin (see MIM 191130), as well as alpha-transducin (MIM 139330)(Won et al., 1998 [PubMed 9819444]).

Antigen:This CCT4 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 4-32 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human CCT4.

Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
