Gene Full Name:
Gene Infomation:The protein encoded by this gene is a signal transducershared by many cytokines, including interleukin 6 (IL6), ciliaryneurotrophic factor (CNTF), leukemia inhibitory factor (LIF), andoncostatin M (OSM). This protein functions as a part of thecytokine receptor complex. The activation of this protein isdependent upon the binding of cytokines to their receptors. vIL6, aprotein related to IL6 and encoded by the Kaposi sarcoma-associatedherpesvirus, can bypass the interleukin 6 receptor (IL6R) anddirectly activate this protein. Knockout studies in mice suggestthat this gene plays a critical role in regulating myocyteapoptosis. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encodingdistinct isoforms have been described. A related pseudogene hasbeen identified on chromosome 17.
Antigen:This CD130 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 871-899 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human CD130.

Buffer condition:Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
Background:
Molar Function:
Western Blot:Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
