Gene Full Name:
Gene Infomation:The CD8 antigen is a cell surface glycoprotein found onmost cytotoxic T lymphocytes that mediates efficient cell-cellinteractions within the immune system. The CD8 antigen, acting as acoreceptor, and the T-cell receptor on the T lymphocyte recognizeantigens displayed by an antigen presenting cell (APC) in thecontext of class I MHC molecules. The functional coreceptor iseither a homodimer composed of two alpha chains, or a heterodimercomposed of one alpha and one beta chain. Both alpha and betachains share significant homology to immunoglobulin variable lightchains. This gene encodes the CD8 beta chain isoforms. Multiplealternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinctmembrane associated or secreted isoforms have been described. Apseudogene, also located on chromosome 2, has been identified.
Antigen:This CD8B1 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 141-167 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human CD8B1.

Buffer condition:Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
Background:
Molar Function:
Western Blot:Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
