Gene Full Name:
Gene Infomation:The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the INK4family of cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitors. This protein has beenshown to interact with CDK4 or CDK6, and prevent the activation ofthe CDK kinases, thus function as a cell growth regulator thatcontrols cell cycle G1 progression. Ectopic expression of this genewas shown to suppress the growth of human cells in a manner thatappears to correlate with the presence of a wild-type RB1 function.Studies in the knockout mice suggested the roles of this gene inregulating spermatogenesis, as well as in suppressingtumorigenesis. Two alternatively spliced transcript variants ofthis gene, which encode an identical protein, have been reported.
Antigen:This CDKN2C antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 113-139 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human CDKN2C.

Buffer condition:Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
Background:
Molar Function:
Western Blot:Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
