Gene Full Name:

Gene Infomation:This gene is a member of the Regulator of ComplementActivation (RCA) gene cluster and encodes a protein with twentyshort concensus repeat (SCR) domains. This protein is secreted intothe bloodstream and has an essential role in the regulation ofcomplement activation, restricting this innate defense mechanism tomicrobial infections. Mutations in this gene have been associatedwith hemolytic-uremic syndrome (HUS) and chronic hypocomplementemicnephropathy. Alternate transcriptional splice variants, encodingdifferent isoforms, have been characterized.

Antigen:This CFH antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 751-780 amino acids from the Central region of human CFH.

Buffer condition:Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.

Background:

Molar Function:

Western Blot:

Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
