Gene Full Name:

Gene Infomation:The muscarinic cholinergic receptors belong to a largerfamily of G protein-coupled receptors. The functional diversity ofthese receptors is defined by the binding of acetylcholine to thesereceptors and includes cellular responses such as adenylate cyclaseinhibition, phosphoinositide degeneration, and potassium channelmediation. Muscarinic receptors influence many effects ofacetylcholine in the central and peripheral nervous system. Themuscarinic cholinergic receptor 2 is involved in mediation ofbradycardia and a decrease in cardiac contractility. Multiplealternatively spliced transcript variants have been described forthis gene.

Antigen:This CHRM2 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 336-364 amino acids from the Central region of human CHRM2.

Buffer condition:Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.

Background:

Molar Function:

Western Blot:

Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
