Gene Full Name:

Gene Infomation:This gene encodes a member of the cytoplasmicpolyadenylation element (CPE) binding protein family. This highlyconserved protein binds to a specific RNA sequence called the CPEfound in the 3' UTR of some mRNAs. Similar proteins in Xenopus andmouse function to induce cytoplasmic polyadenylation of dormantmRNAs with short polyA tails, resulting in their translation.Members of this protein family regulate translation of cyclin B1during embryonic cell divisions. Multiple transcript variantsencoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.

Antigen:This CPEB1 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 447-475 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human CPEB1.

Buffer condition:Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.

Background:

Molar Function:

Western Blot:

Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
