Gene Full Name:
Gene Infomation:This gene encodes a transcription factor that is a memberof the leucine zipper family of DNA binding proteins. This proteinbinds to the cAMP-response element and regulates cellproliferation. The protein interacts with host cell factor C1,which also associates with the herpes simplex virus (HSV) proteinVP16 that induces transcription of HSV immediate-early genes. Thisprotein and VP16 both bind to the same site on host cell factor C1.It is thought that the interaction between this protein and hostcell factor C1 plays a role in the establishment of latency duringHSV infection. This protein also plays a role in leukocytemigration, tumor suppression, and endoplasmic reticulumstress-associated protein degradation. Additional transcriptvariants have been identified, but their biological validity hasnot been determined.
Antigen:This CREB3 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 66-94 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human CREB3.

Buffer condition:Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
Background:
Molar Function:
Western Blot:Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
