Gene Infomation:KRT18 is the type I intermediate filament chain keratin 18. Keratin 18, together with its filament partner keratin 8, are perhaps the most commonly found members of the intermediate filament family. They are expressed in single layer epithelial tissues of the body. Mutations in its gene have been linked to cryptogenic cirrhosis.

Antigen:This CYK18 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 401-430 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human CYK18.

Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
