Gene Full Name:
Gene Infomation:This gene, CYP1A1, encodes a member of the cytochrome P450superfamily of enzymes. The cytochrome P450 proteins aremonooxygenases which catalyze many reactions involved in drugmetabolism and synthesis of cholesterol, steroids and other lipids. This protein localizes to the endoplasmic reticulum and itsexpression is induced by some polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(PAHs), some of which are found in cigarette smoke. The enzyme'sendogenous substrate is unknown; however, it is able to metabolizesome PAHs to carcinogenic intermediates. The gene has beenassociated with lung cancer risk. A related family member, CYP1A2,is located approximately 25 kb away from CYP1A1 on chromosome 15.
Antigen:This CYP1A1 antibody is generated from mice immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 377-405 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human CYP1A1.

Buffer condition:Purified monoclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein G column, eluted with high and low pH buffers and neutralized immediately, followed by dialysis against PBS.
Background:
Molar Function:
Western Blot:Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
