Gene Full Name:

Gene Infomation:IGF1, also named as IBP1, MGF, IGF-IA and Somatomedin-C, belongs to the insulin family. IGF1 is structurally and functionally related to insulin but have a much higher growth-promoting activity. Altered expression or mutation of IGF-1 is associated with several human disorders, including type I diabetes and various forms of cancer. Defects in IGF1 are the cause of insulin-like growth factor I deficiency (IGF1 deficiency) which is an autosomal recessive disorder characterized by growth retardation, sensorineural deafness and mental retardation. The ; is specific to isoform IGF-1A.

Tissue specificity:Cytokeratin 14 Antibody detects endogenous levels of total Cytokeratin 14

Storage:Store at +4°C short term. Store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze / thaw cycle.

Buffer condition:Rabbit IgG in phosphate buffered saline , pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol.

Background:The nonhelical tail domain is involved in promoting KRT5-KRT14 filaments to self-organize into large bundles and enhances the mechanical properties involved in resilience of keratin intermediate filaments in vitro.

Molar Function:

Western Blot:

Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
