Gene Full Name:
Gene Infomation:The alpha-V (ITGAV) integrins are receptors for vitronectin, cytotactin, fibronectin, fibrinogen, laminin, matrix metalloproteinase-2, osteopontin, osteomodulin, prothrombin, thrombospondin and vWF. They recognize the sequence R-G-D in a wide array of ligands. In case of HIV-1 infection, the interaction with extracellular viral Tat protein seems to enhance angiogenesis in Kaposis sarcoma lesions.

Background:DAP (death associated protein) kinase and ZIP kinase are members of a novel protein kinase family, the members of which have the capacity to mediate apoptosis through their catalytic activities. DAP kinase (DAPK) contains a “death domain” and has been shown to mediate IFN-γ-induced apoptosis. The introduction of DAPK into highly metastatic carcinoma clones lacking DAPK expression has been shown to result in the suppression of metastasis, thus linking suppression of apoptosis to metastasis.
Molar Function:
Western Blot:Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
