Gene Full Name:

Gene Infomation:This gene is a member of the DAZ gene family and is acandidate for the human Y-chromosomal azoospermia factor (AZF). Itsexpression is restricted to premeiotic germ cells, particularly inspermatogonia. It encodes an RNA-binding protein that is importantfor spermatogenesis. Four copies of this gene are found onchromosome Y within palindromic duplications; one pair of genes ispart of the P2 palindrome and the second pair is part of the P1palindrome. Each gene contains a 2.4 kb repeat including a 72-bpexon, called the DAZ repeat; the number of DAZ repeats is variableand there are several variations in the sequence of the DAZ repeat. Each copy of the gene also contains a 10.8 kb region that may beamplified; this region includes five exons that encode an RNArecognition motif (RRM) domain. This gene contains one copy of the10.8 kb repeat.

Antigen:This DAZ3 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 445-474 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human DAZ3.

Buffer condition:Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.

Background:

Molar Function:

Western Blot:

Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
