Background:
Molar Function:Covalent attachment of NEDD8 to cullins, a process called neddylation, results in nuclear cullin accumulation, which promotes cell growth, migration, and transformation. DCUN1D3 inhibits neddylation of cullins by sequestering them to the plasma membrane, thereby promoting cell differentiation. Antagonizes DCUN1D1-mediated CUL1 neddylation by sequestering CUL1 at the cell membrane (PubMed:25349211). When overexpressed in transformed cells, may promote mesenchymal to epithelial-like changes and inhibit colony formation in soft agar (PubMed:25349211).
Western Blot:Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
