Gene Full Name:
Gene Infomation:Receptor tyrosine kinases (RTKs) play a key role in thecommunication of cells with their microenvironment. These moleculesare involved in the regulation of cell growth, differentiation, andmetabolism. In several cases the biochemical mechanism by whichRTKs transduce signals across the membrane has been shown to beligand induced receptor oligomerization and subsequentintracellular phosphorylation. This autophosphorylation leads tophosphorylation of cytosolic targets as well as association withother molecules, which are involved in pleiotropic effects ofsignal transduction. RTKs have a tripartite structure withextracellular, transmembrane, and cytoplasmic regions. This geneencodes a member of a novel subclass of RTKs and contains adistinct extracellular region encompassing a factor VIII-likedomain. Alternative splicing in the 5' UTR results in multipletranscript variants encoding the same protein. [provided byRefSeq].

Buffer condition:Mouse monoclonal antibody supplied in crude ascites with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide.
Background:
Molar Function:
Western Blot:Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
