Gene Infomation:DIO1 is a thiol-requiring propylthiouracil-sensitive oxidoreductase. It activates thyroid hormone by converting the prohormone thyroxine (T4) by outer ring deiodination (ORD) to bioactive 3,3',5-triiodothyronine (T3). Italso degrades both hormones by inner ring deiodination (IRD).

Antigen:This DIO1 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 30-57 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human DIO1.

Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
