Gene Full Name:

Gene Infomation:The protein encoded by this gene is a calcium-dependentglycoprotein that is a member of the desmocollin subfamily of thecadherin superfamily. These desmosomal family members, along withthe desmogleins, are found primarily in epithelial cells where theyconstitute the adhesive proteins of the desmosome cell-celljunction and are required for cell adhesion and desmosomeformation. The desmosomal family members are arranged in twoclusters on chromosome 18, occupying less than 650 kb combined.Alternative splicing results in two transcript variants encodingdistinct isoforms.

Antigen:This DSC3 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 822-850 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human DSC3.

Buffer condition:Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.

Background:

Molar Function:

Western Blot:

Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
