Gene Full Name:
Gene Infomation:This gene encodes an isoform of the alpha subunit of theelongation factor-1 complex, which is responsible for the enzymaticdelivery of aminoacyl tRNAs to the ribosome. This isoform (alpha 2)is expressed in brain, heart and skeletal muscle, and the otherisoform (alpha 1) is expressed in brain, placenta, lung, liver, kidney, and pancreas. This gene may be critical in the developmentof ovarian cancer. Alternatively spliced transcript variantsencoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
Antigen:This EEF1A2 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 366-395 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human EEF1A2.

Buffer condition:Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
Background:
Molar Function:
Western Blot:Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
