Gene Full Name:
Gene Infomation:This gene encodes one member of a family of translationrepressor proteins. The protein directly interacts with eukaryotictranslation initiation factor 4E (eIF4E), which is a limitingcomponent of the multisubunit complex that recruits 40S ribosomalsubunits to the 5' end of mRNAs. Interaction of this protein witheIF4E inhibits complex assembly and represses translation. Thisprotein is phosphorylated in response to various signals includingUV irradiation and insulin signaling, resulting in its dissociationfrom eIF4E and activation of mRNA translation. [provided byRefSeq].
Antigen:This EIF4EBP1 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 31-61 amino acids from the Central region of human EIF4EBP1.

Storage:
Buffer condition:Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is prepared by Saturated Ammonium Sulfate (SAS) precipitation followed by dialysis against PBS.
Background:
Molar Function:
Western Blot:Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
