Gene Full Name:

Gene Infomation:This gene encodes the erythropoietin receptor which is amember of the cytokine receptor family. Upon erythropoietinbinding, this receptor activates Jak2 tyrosine kinase whichactivates different intracellular pathways including: Ras/MAPkinase, phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase and STAT transcriptionfactors. The stimulated erythropoietin receptor appears to have arole in erythroid cell survival. Defects in the erythropoietinreceptor may produce erythroleukemia and familial erythrocytosis.Dysregulation of this gene may affect the growth of certain tumors.Alternate splicing results in multiple transcript variants.

Antigen:This EPOR antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 329-357 amino acids from the Central region of human EPOR.

Storage:

Buffer condition:Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.

Background:

Molar Function:

Western Blot:

Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
