Gene Full Name:

Gene Infomation:Excision repair cross-complementing rodent repairdeficiency, complementation group 5 (xeroderma pigmentosum, complementation group G) is involved in excision repair ofUV-induced DNA damage. Mutations cause Cockayne syndrome, which ischaracterized by severe growth defects, mental retardation, andcachexia. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variantsencoding distinct isoforms have been described, but the biologicalvalidity of all variants has not been determined. [provided byRefSeq].

Antigen:This ERCC5 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 1151-1178 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human ERCC5.

Buffer condition:Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.

Background:

Molar Function:

Western Blot:

Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
