Gene Full Name:
Gene Infomation:This gene encodes a WD repeat protein, which interactswith Cockayne syndrome type B (CSB) protein and with p44 protein, asubunit of the RNA polymerase II transcription factor IIH.Mutations in this gene have been identified in patients withhereditary disease Cockayne syndrome (CS). CS cells are abnormallysensitive to ultraviolet radiation and are defective in the repairof transcriptionally active genes.
Antigen:This ERCC8 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 210-238 amino acids from the Central region of human ERCC8.

Buffer condition:Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
Background:
Molar Function:
Western Blot:Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
