Gene Full Name:
Gene Infomation:This gene product constitutes one of the subunits of themultisubunit particle called exosome, which mediates mRNAdegradation. The composition of human exosome is similar to itsyeast counterpart. This protein is homologous to the yeast Mtr3protein. Its exact function is not known, however, it has beenshown using a cell-free RNA decay system that the exosome isrequired for rapid degradation of unstable mRNAs containing AU-richelements (AREs), but not for poly(A) shortening. The exosome doesnot recognize ARE-containing mRNAs on its own, but requiresARE-binding proteins that could interact with the exosome andrecruit it to unstable mRNAs, thereby promoting their rapiddegradation.
Antigen:This EXOSC6 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 12-38 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human EXOSC6.

Buffer condition:Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
Background:
Molar Function:
Western Blot:Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
