Gene Full Name:
Gene Infomation:EZH2, SUZ12, and EED form a complex that methylates nucleosomal histone H3 at Lys27. EZH2 contains a SET domain, a signature motif for all known histone lysine methyltransferases except the H3-K79 methyltransferase DOT1, and is therefore likely to be the catalytic subunit.Consequently, EZH2 is thought to regulate gene expression by controlling chromatin structure.Several lines of evidence suggested a critical role for the EZH2 protein during normal and perturbed development of the hematopoietic and central nervous systems. The EZH2 protein has been shown to associate with the VAV1 protooncoproteinand with the XNP protein, the product of a gene associated with mental retardation.Additionally, due to mapping of EZH2 to the 7q35-q36 chromosomal region associated with myeloid disorders, this protein is suggested to participate in the genetic events triggering myeloid leukemia.
Antigen:This EZH2 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide selected from the center region of human EZH2.

Storage:
Buffer condition:Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein G column, eluted with high and low pH buffers and neutralized immediately, followed by dialysis against PBS.
Background:
Molar Function:
Western Blot:Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
