Anti-FCGRT Rabbit pAb

Antibody type:Primary antibody

Label:Unconjugated

Modification:Unmodification

Isotype:Rabbit IgG

Host:Rabbit

Application:WB

Purify method:Affinity purified

Species:Human,Mouse

Gene Name:FCGRT

Synonyms:FCRN; alpha-chain

Gene Synonyms:

Gene Full Name:Fc fragment of IgG receptor and transporter

Gene Infomation:This gene encodes a receptor that binds the Fc region of monomeric immunoglobulin G. The encoded protein transfers immunoglobulin G antibodies from mother to fetus across the placenta. This protein also binds immunoglobulin G to protect the antibody from degradation. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq, Apr 2009]

Antigen:Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 25-300 of human FCGRT (NP_004098.1).

Antigen Synonyms:IgG receptor FcRn large subunit p51

Clonality:Polyclonal antibody

Source:Human

Tissue specificity:Expressed in full-term placenta, heart, lung, liver, muscle, kidney, pancreas, and both fetal and adult small intestine.

Storage:Store at -20°C. Avoid freeze / thaw cycles.

Buffer condition:PBS with 0.02% sodium azide, 50% glycerol, pH7.3.

Background:

Molar Function:Binds to the Fc region of monomeric immunoglobulins gamma (PubMed:7964511, PubMed:10933786). Mediates the selective uptake of IgG from milk and helps newborn animals to acquire passive immunity. IgG in the milk is bound at the apical surface of the intestinal epithelium. The resultant FcRn-IgG complexes are transcytosed across the intestinal epithelium and IgG is released from FcRn into blood or tissue fluids . Possible role in transfer of immunoglobulin G from mother to fetus (PubMed:7964511).

Western Blot:

Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
