Gene Full Name:
Gene Infomation:The protein encoded by this gene is an enzymatic componentof the tricarboxylic acid (TCA) cycle, or Krebs cycle, andcatalyzes the formation of L-malate from fumarate. It exists inboth a cytosolic form and an N-terminal extended form, differingonly in the translation start site used. The N-terminal extendedform is targeted to the mitochondrion, where the removal of theextension generates the same form as in the cytoplasm. It issimilar to some thermostable class II fumarases and functions as ahomotetramer. Mutations in this gene can cause fumarase deficiencyand lead to progressive encephalopathy.
Antigen:This FH antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 107-135 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human FH.

Buffer condition:Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
Background:
Molar Function:
Western Blot:Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
