Gene Full Name:
Gene Infomation:The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the folatereceptor family. Members of this gene family bind folic acid andits reduced derivatives, and transport 5-methyltetrahydrofolateinto cells. This gene product is a secreted protein that eitheranchors to membranes via a glycosyl-phosphatidylinositol linkage orexists in a soluble form. Mutations in this gene have beenassociated with neurodegeneration due to cerebral folate transportdeficiency. Due to the presence of two promoters, multipletranscription start sites, and alternative splicing, multipletranscript variants encoding the same protein have been found forthis gene.
Antigen:This FOLR1 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 33-68 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human FOLR1.

Buffer condition:Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
Background:
Molar Function:
Western Blot:Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
