Background:FOXP3 (a 431 amino acid protein) is a member of the forkhead/winged-helix family of transcriptional regulators and is highly conserved across mammals. FOXP3 is essential for normal immune homeostasis. FOXP3 is stably and constitutively expressed at a high level in CD25 + CD4 positive regulatory T cells, at low level in CD4 positive/CD25 negative cells, and is absent in CD4 negative/CD8 positive T cells. FOXP3 may be a master regulatory gene and a more specific marker of regulatory T cells than other T cells.
Molar Function:
Western Blot:Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
