Gene Infomation:This gene is a member of the neuronal calcium sensor genefamily, which encode calcium-binding proteins expressedpredominantly in neurons. The protein encoded by this generegulates G protein-coupled receptor phosphorylation in acalcium-dependent manner and can substitute for calmodulin. Theprotein is associated with secretory granules and modulatessynaptic transmission and synaptic plasticity. Multiple transcriptvariants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.

Western Blot:Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate.
