Gene Full Name:

Gene Infomation:Gastrin is a hormone whose main function is to stimulatesecretion of hydrochloric acid by the gastric mucosa, which resultsin gastrin formation inhibition. This hormone also acts as amitogenic factor for gastrointestinal epithelial cells. Gastrin hastwo biologically active peptide forms, G34 and G17. [provided byRefSeq].

Antigen:This GAST antibody is generated from mice immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 49-78 amino acids from human GAST.

Buffer condition:Mouse monoclonal antibody supplied in crude ascites with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide.

Background:

Molar Function:

Western Blot:

Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
