Gene Infomation:This gene encodes a mitochondrial enzyme that belongs tothe amidinotransferase family. This enzyme is involved in creatinebiosynthesis, whereby it catalyzes the transfer of a guanido groupfrom L-arginine to glycine, resulting in guanidinoacetic acid, theimmediate precursor of creatine. Mutations in this gene causearginine:glycine amidinotransferase deficiency, an inborn error ofcreatine synthesis characterized by mental retardation, languageimpairment, and behavioral disorders.

Western Blot:Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
