Gene Infomation:HSP90A a molecular chaperone of the heat shock protein 90 family. Has ATPase activity. Known to interact with a wide variety of proteins including steroid hormone receptors, neuropeptide Y, FKBP51/54, and FKBP52. G protein-coupled receptor kinases are stabilized by interacting with HSP 90. Hsp70 and Hsp90 promote tau solubility and tau binding to microtubules, reducing insoluble tau.

Background:Golgi auto-antigen; probably involved in maintaining cis-Golgi structure. The Golgi apparatus, which participates in glycosylation and transport of proteins and lipids in the secretory pathway, consists of a series of stacked cisternae (flattened membrane sacs). Interactions between the Golgi and microtubules are thought to be important for the reorganization of the Golgi after it fragments during mitosis. This gene encodes one of the golgins, a family of proteins localized to the Golgi.

Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
