Gene Full Name:

Gene Infomation:The Golgi apparatus, which participates in glycosylationand transport of proteins and lipids in the secretory pathway, consists of a series of stacked cisternae (flattened membranesacs). Interactions between the Golgi and microtubules are thoughtto be important for the reorganization of the Golgi after itfragments during mitosis. This gene encodes one of the golgins, afamily of proteins localized to the Golgi. This protein is acoiled-coil membrane protein that has been postulated to play arole in vesicle tethering and docking. Translocations involvingthis gene and the ret proto-oncogene have been found in tumortissues; the chimeric sequences have been designated RET-II andPTC5.

Antigen:This GOLGA5 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 381-408 amino acids from the Central region of human GOLGA5.

Buffer condition:Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.

Background:

Molar Function:

Western Blot:

Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
