Gene Full Name:

Gene Infomation:Cell surface heparan sulfate proteoglycans are composed ofa membrane-associated protein core substituted with a variablenumber of heparan sulfate chains. Members of the glypican-relatedintegral membrane proteoglycan family (GRIPS) contain a coreprotein anchored to the cytoplasmic membrane via a glycosylphosphatidylinositol linkage. These proteins may play a role in thecontrol of cell division and growth regulation. The protein encodedby this gene can bind to and inhibit the dipeptidyl peptidaseactivity of CD26, and it can induce apoptosis in certain celltypes. Deletion mutations in this gene are associated withSimpson-Golabi-Behmel syndrome, also known as Simpson dysmorphiasyndrome. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcriptvariants.

Antigen:This GPC3 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 465-494 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human GPC3.

Buffer condition:Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.

Background:

Molar Function:

Western Blot:

Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
