Gene Full Name:

Gene Infomation:N-methyl-D-aspartate (NMDA) receptors are a class ofionotropic glutamate-gated ion channels. These receptors have beenshown to be involved in long-term potentiation, anactivity-dependent increase in the efficiency of synaptictransmission thought to underlie certain kinds of memory andlearning. NMDA receptor channels are heteromers composed of the keyreceptor subunit NMDAR1 (GRIN1) and 1 or more of the 4 NMDAR2subunits: NMDAR2A (GRIN2A), NMDAR2B (GRIN2B), NMDAR2C (GRIN2C) andNMDAR2D (GRIN2D). Alternatively spliced transcript variantsencoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.

Antigen:This GRIN2A antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 1291-1318 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human GRIN2A.

Buffer condition:Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.

Background:

Molar Function:

Western Blot:

Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
