Gene Full Name:

Gene Infomation:Glutathione S-transferase (GST) theta 1 (GSTT1) is amember of a superfamily of proteins that catalyze the conjugationof reduced glutathione to a variety of electrophilic andhydrophobic compounds. Human GSTs can be divided into five mainclasses: alpha, mu, pi, theta, and zeta. The theta class includesGSTT1 and GSTT2. The GSTT1 and GSTT2 share 55% amino acid sequenceidentity and both of them were claimed to have an important role inhuman carcinogenesis. The GSTT1 gene is located approximately 50kbaway from the GSTT2 gene. The GSTT1 and GSTT2 genes have a similarstructure, being composed of five exons with identical exon/intronboundaries.

Antigen:This GSTT1 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 7-34 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human GSTT1.

Buffer condition:Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.

Background:

Molar Function:

Western Blot:

Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
