Gene Full Name:

Gene Infomation:This gene encodes a retina-specific guanylate cyclase, which is a member of the membrane guanylyl cyclase family. Likeother membrane guanylyl cyclases, this enzyme has a hydrophobicamino-terminal signal sequence followed by a large extracellulardomain, a single membrane spanning domain, a kinase homologydomain, and a guanylyl cyclase catalytic domain. In contrast toother membrane guanylyl cyclases, this enzyme is not activated bynatriuretic peptides. Mutations in this gene result in Lebercongenital amaurosis and cone-rod dystrophy-6 diseases. [providedby RefSeq].

Antigen:This GUCY2D antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 540-570 amino acids from the Central region of human GUCY2D.

Buffer condition:Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.

Background:

Molar Function:

Western Blot:

Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
