Gene Full Name:

Gene Infomation:HABP2 is an extracellularserine protease that binds hyaluronic acid and is involved in celladhesion. The encoded protein is synthesized as a single chain, butthen undergoes an autoproteolytic event to form the functionalheterodimer. Further autoproteolysis leads to smaller, inactivepeptides. This protease is known to cleave urinary plasminogenactivator, coagulation factor VII, and the alpha and beta chains offibrinogen, but not prothrombin, plasminogen, or the gamma chain offibrinogen. Two transcript variants encoding different isoformshave been found for this gene.

Antigen:This HABP2 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 378-408 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human HABP2.

Storage:

Buffer condition:Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is prepared by Saturated Ammonium Sulfate (SAS) precipitation followed by dialysis against PBS.

Background:

Molar Function:

Western Blot:

Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
